We develop the underlying skills necessary in order that students can more easily learn what is taught to them in school. 		We do not tutor...
		The objective with tutoring is to deliver the same content that a learner is presented with in school. This is done by breaking down that curriculum into smaller pieces, presenting it in a smaller group setting, and/or by reintroducing the information from a new beginning point or perspective. Our approach is completely different.

		Our unique approach...
		At Bridges, our approach is unique. We do not teach the same content your child may be struggling with at school.
		We instead learn what might be making schoolwork difficult by assessing the basic cognitive and perceptual skills needed by your child in order to learn. We profile those abilities to see how well developed the requisite skills are in each particular area for the particular learner.
		Next, we customize a plan to develop those learning skills that are underdeveloped in your child — so that he or she can more easily take in, remember, and use the information presented at school. Just as no two children are the same, no two Bridges remedial plans are the same.
